Plus, I am not convinced Audible wouldn’t just start charging my new cards anyways. I contacted the bank but their only solution was to inactivate all of my accounts, cut up all my cards and wait for new ones. So, long story short, we’ve been charged $32 a month for God knows how long. I’m not even entirely sure how this is happening since that account was in Australia, and I never had any Canadian banking info on it. I verified that my account has not been used for anything (hacked or otherwise) for over three years. I was annoyed with that until I looked into my bank statements and realized I TOO had been charged a separate subscription fee under an Amazon account I have not even used for three years! (I get email notification of any charges to my card and this was never a notification, hence how I’ve missed it.) I have NEVER had audible. We verified online that he has not had an active Audible account since then. I thought he may have unsubscribed incorrectly, but no. He then cancelled it, but we did not realize until a few months ago that they never stopped charging him (he doesn’t use that bank card for anything so didn’t look at statements). My husband had an audible account for around 7 months in 2021 or so. An ecommerce website and Amazon company, Audible provides educational, entertaining, and inspiring audiobooks and audio entertainment available anywhere. I am at my wits end because I have tried everything else. ![]()
